  • GILT Primary Science Quality Mark

    We are delighted to announce that our school has been awarded the Primary Science Quality Mark (PSQM) Gilt Award, recognising our continued commitment to excellence in science education.Having previously achieved the standard PSQM, this new award represents a step up and reflects the significant progress we have made in developing high-quality science teaching and learning across the school.This achievement  highlights the inspiring science experiences our pupils enjoy every day, from hands-on investigations to opportunities that spark curiosity and encourage deeper scientific thinking. A special thank you goes to Mrs Lee, our Science Leader, whose passion, leadership, and hard work have been central to securing this award. Her commitment ensures that science remains engaging, inclusive, and exciting for all pupils.

  • Wellbeing Award for Schools

    Very proud of our amazing team at Propps Hall, their commitment to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our school community has got the recognition it deserves again. Our school had it's re-assessment this week, with a 1 day visit from an external assessor who recommended that we be awarded with the accreditation for a 2nd time. Thank you to all the parents who support the work that we do, it's much appreciated. 

     

  • Gold School Games Sports Mark

    We are delighted to announce that we have achieved the School Games Gold Mark Award for the 2023-2024 academic year.

     

    The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward and recognise school’s engagement (provision and uptake) in the School Games against a national benchmark and to celebrate keeping young people active, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success.

  • RAILWAY SAFETY

    Due to recent incidents of trespass on the railway near our school, we urgently need you to speak to your children about safety on railways.

     

    Over 20 million students, parents and teachers from across the UK have already watched these videos which has led to a significant decrease in the number of fatalities and injuries in their area through watching the safety videos.

  • School Games Gold award

    We are  pleased to announce that we have been awarded a quality mark for the teaching of science at our school. The PQSM is awarded to schools to celebrate their commitment to excellence in science teaching and learning. 

     

    Primary Science Quality Mark (PSQM) is the only national award scheme to develop and celebrate the quality of science teaching and learning in primary schools. Schools achieve a PSQM through a year-long process of initial audit, followed by action and evidenced-based reflection.

  • Fundraising for Bone Cancer Research Trust
