The children worked together as the Triple Alliance and Triple Entente, they spent the day in the trenches, writing to their families and keeping watch. The children even ate their dinner in the trenches , a stew and bread. Once the children had experienced life in the trenches they made their way to our local war memorial to place a wreath they had made themselves.
