Summer 2025
Curriculum Enrichment Day
The children enjoyed a tech-tactic adventure as the dove into a world of creativity and discovery during Digital Literacy Enrichment Day. The children became digital storytellers, designed and animated their own movies and buildings, explored far off places through the immersive VR headsets and used data loggers to collect real time information and analyse their findings. Darwins even had the time to travel to France and back!
The children were truly engaged and enthusiastic about their learning throughout the whole of the day.

❓Wonder Wall ❓
The children have been introduced to a Wonder Wall in our Nature Nook this week. This is a place where they create their own scientific enquiries and questions about the world. The children really enjoyed thinking outside of the box and asking a range of questions about our environment such as 'why is the sky blue?!'
Some children have taken a question home to research and share the answer with their peers.
Ancient Greek Art
Nightingales thoroughly enjoyed their Ancient Greece workshop and have produced some fantastic pieces of art learning.
VE Day 80th Anniversary
It was wonderful to see the children dressed up to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day. The children spent the day learning about this very important moment in history.
OAFC
Five of our children were proud flag bearers for the last home game of the season for Oldham Athletic. They then watched Oldham win 2-0!
A big thank you to Oldham FC and to the children who represented our school.

Sketching in the style of Gayle Gerson
