This half term we have looked at the unit of 'Water'. We located key rivers of the world, sketched a river using shading and tone and analysed and described the features of a river system. We have explained the different courses of a river as well as researching the different ways water is used around the world (including the UK). We have looked at climate change and the importance of water for all.

Autumn 1

Our topic this half term is Vicious Vikings. In History, we are focusing on the enquiry question 'Were the Vikings vicious?' We will be investigating why the Vikings raided Anglo-Saxon areas, how they lived and what they believed in.

In Art and Design we will be looking at structures; designing and building our own Viking longhouses.
