Our class is named after Sir Francis Drake who lived a long, long time ago.

He was the first Englishman to sail all around the world. As a class, we will learn about how Sir Francis Drake sailed around the world and design and make or own ships. We will explore how different materials are now used to build ships and test different materials in water.
