Our current school opening times and length of our school week is detailed below. The Department for Education has recently published information that stipulates that the minimum requirement for a school week for all children must be 32.5 hours per week from September 2023. 

Current duration of our school week in each key stage 

Nursery 

The children in Nursery attend in either session 1 or session 2.

• Session 1: Monday and Tuesday 8:45am - 3:00pm and Wednesday morning 8.45am- 11.15pm
• Session 2: Wednesday afternoon 12:30 - 3:00pm , Thursday and Friday 8:45am-3:00pm

Reception 

• The children start school at 8:45am and finish at 3:15pm
• The children in Reception are in school for 32 hours and 30 minutes a week 

Key Stage 1

• The children start school at 8:45am and finish at 3:15pm
• The children in Year 1 and Year 2 are in school for 32 hours and 30 minutes a week 

Key Stage 2

• The children start school at 8:45am and finish at 3:20 pm
• The children in Years 3 to 6 are in school for 32 hours and 55 minutes a week
