Our artwork based on Hokusai's Great Wave
Our poinsettia artwork
Nightingales have been learning about Hokusai’s great wave. We began our topic by researching and sketching the wave. We then experimented with, and used watercolour to paint our sketches. We also explored ‘abstract’ art and then recreated the wave using block and bold colours. Lastly we evaluated our learning and discussed which media was most effective and why.
