Churchills visit to the Royal Armouries Museum
The children learnt all about Anglo-Saxons, worked as a team to excavate an archeological site of the pioneer helmet, and brought to life the legend of Beowulf in an interactive story telling session.
Churchills visit to Castleshaw
Churchills were able to explore what life was like for Roman Soldiers and discover artefacts to create historical enquiries. They were even able to explore the excavation site of a real Roman Fortress and recognise the different areas of the fort and explore it's purpose!
