Narrative poetry
We explored Wilfred Owen's famous poem, Dulce Et Decorum Est, and wrote our own poem based on the old lie: it is sweet and right to die for your country. We included a variety of figurative language, including metaphors and personification, highlighting the horrors that so many men faced during the Great War.
