Spring 2026
🌿🐞 Biodiversity Enrichment Day 🐝🌸
Our children enjoyed a fantastic day of outdoor learning as they explored biodiversity through a range of hands-on activities. They investigated different habitats, took part in mini-beast hunts, and developed their understanding of how plants, animals, and microorganisms are all connected within ecosystems.
The children learned why biodiversity is so important in keeping environments healthy and how even the smallest living things play a vital role. They also began to understand how changes to habitats can have wider impacts on food chains and ecosystems.
Our KS2 children built on this further by classifying living things, identifying species, and exploring how human activity - such as pollution and deforestation - can affect biodiversity both locally and globally. They also discussed the importance of conservation and how we can all take small steps to help protect our environment. 🌍💚
It was fantastic to see such curiosity, teamwork, and enthusiasm as the children asked thoughtful questions and shared their discoveries. A truly inspiring day for our future environmental stewards!
We are incredibly proud of our Musical Theatre group who were presented with the Audrey Carter trophy for their performance at Choral Speaking ✨
‘…a precise lyrical performance, full of drama and well executed by everyone. Your expressive tone was emphasised through varied tone, pitch and incredible teamwork….you certainly left a lasting impression.’
