Spring 26
Early Years had a fantastic time celebrating Chinese New Year! ππ§§β¨
They loved watching traditional dragon dancing and were so excited to dance alongside a Chinese dragon during their walk. The children explored their senses by tasting delicious Chinese food, discussing new flavours, smells and textures.
In class, they created beautiful Chinese-inspired crafts and deepened their learning by acting out the story of The Great Race. A truly immersive day full of culture, creativity and celebration.

They explored and compared how school and home life was different to now. They learnt in a Victorian classroom and were taught by a Victorian teacher. They created art which reflected the learning of children from the Victorian era.
The pictures say it all!
