Today we have learnt that The Gruffalo story is set in a woodland area and we have looked at some of the animals that live in woodland areas. In particular, we have looked at the types of homes some animals that live in woodland areas sleep in.

For your activity I would like you to take a stroll in your garden or any outside area with a grown up and collect natural materials that you can use to make a log pile house, just like in the story. Think about the examples I shared and the one I have made! I wonder what your log pile house will attract!
