Examples

Miss Thompson waved, "Hello!"

"I hope the sun comes back out," sighed the boy.

The rabbit said to the tortoise Shall we have a race

The tortoise replied Are you sure you want to race me

Absolutely, I will definitely beat you answered the rabbit

That isn't fair replied the tortoise I'm incredibly slow

Now finish off the conversation using inverted commas, extra punctuation and a new line each time a different character speaks! smiley

Spelling

Play the online games below to practise the A, B and C common exception words. If they don't work, practise the words that you find the trickiest in any way that you like smiley

Then you could ask you adult to give you a mini spelling test using some of the A, B or C words! You don't have to write them down - you could practise spelling them aloud.
